Tyrese writes a letter to white people

Tyrese recently took to instagram to write a letter to white people and starts the letter by, “Dear White People”. He then proceeds to explain to them that if there was ever a time for them to stand up for black people as they say that we are family, this is the time. He then spoke about how they are always at each others houses with good vibes but right now he needs them more than ever to speak up. During his rant he also speaks about the many tragic things black people have to face each day.

This was the exact letter Tyrese wrote, “Dear White People,
This is your moment to step UP and speak OUT….. When I speak to you… You say we are brothers…. You say we are family….. You are always at my place and invite me over to your place often….:….. We have always always had good vibes….. Right now? I need you more than ever to speak UP and speak OUT about real shit that we as black people are living everyday…….. We’ve been screaming for justice, we’ve been boycotting, we’ve done aggressive and peaceful protest…… So right now I don’t care that I’m your brother or family when it’s convenient we need you to speak UP and speak UP and speak OUT NOW!!!!!!!! This mayor is leading by example and this is and will forever be appreciated……. Otherwise stay at home and continue to say it’s really sad to see what “They” are dealing with……… In due time cause we always do….. We will get through this…. We will fight for change until change happens…….. But if I’m truly your brother? Do something! [ they don’t care that the cameras are rolling every since Rodney King was beat and all officers got off there’s a sheer arrogance that has been on full display ] we ARE the LAW and therefore we are ABOVE the law……. Try and prosecute me? I will laugh and wait at home and enjoy my family…….. Watch you burn down your own neighborhoods from my actions and be entertained by your pains and losses…… #BeTheChange -Tyrese”
