Big Sean Speaks Out On His Rumored Beef With Kendrick Lamar! Big Sean has been doing interview rounds to promote his new album Detroit 2 and he’s opening up about some of his personal relationships and music industry beefs.

In a candid interview with Vulture, Big Sean opened up about his rumored beef with Kendrick Lamar saying they dealt with the rumors privately.

“That’s what happened. It was nothing. I didn’t even know what the fuck it was. We communicated to each other that it was all love. That’s what you’re supposed to do. It should never get to a point where you can’t communicate with someone, especially somebody who had been in my house before, somebody who I’ve been invited to their mama’s house, or somebody I’ve made music with that was fire,” he said.

The beef rumors date back to Big Sean’s 2015 freestyle “Me, Myself, and I,” with the bars, “Y’all braggin’ about so and so, like ‘Oh, he really it? / The new nigga in rap? Well, can he really spit?” / Or do he just hide behind his skits”, many thought he was taking shots at Kendrick.

“I wasn’t beefing with nobody. Every verse I do, people be like, ‘Oh is this a response? Is this a response?’ And I’m like, ‘Damn I can’t even show no aggression, people think it’s a damn response’,” Big Sean said back in February.
