Travis Scott’s WWE Involvement Reportedly Ends After WrestleMania 41

Travis Scott’s relationship with WWE has reportedly broken down in recent weeks, ending what had been a high-profile crossover between music and wrestling. The rapper played a key role in the build-up to WrestleMania 41, including involvement in the main event between Cody Rhodes and John Cena. Since then, he has not appeared on WWE programming, with reports suggesting the partnership has collapsed.
Speaking on Ariel Helwani’s show, WWE’s Paul Heyman confirmed the split. When asked about Scott’s absence, Heyman said, “It fell apart and we moved forward without it.” Pressed for more details, he added, “The whole deal with Travis Scott.”
The fallout comes amid sharp criticism from WWE talent. Superstar Drew McIntyre recently called out Scott, saying, “Do a six minute run-in at WrestleMania and screw up our damn main event. Travis Scott. Piece of shit.”
Scott has not addressed the situation publicly. After WrestleMania 41, he appeared enthusiastic about returning, sharing photos from the event on Instagram with the caption, “I DONT WANT A RECEIPT I WANT BLOOOODDD AFTER JACKBOYS 2 I NEEEEEDDD THAT.”
At WrestleMania, Scott was on the receiving end of Cody Rhodes’ Cross Rhodes finishing move, part of an ongoing storyline that began in February at Elimination Chamber. During that earlier encounter, Scott landed a hard punch on Rhodes’ head, leaving the wrestler with a legitimate black eye and ruptured eardrum.
Weeks later, Rhodes told Complex he intended to give Scott a “receipt” if they crossed paths again in WWE. “Beat me up, I’m gonna beat you up,” Rhodes said. “If Travis Scott ever makes his way back into the WWE fray, maybe there’s a receipt for Travis.” He added that he had been a fan of Scott before their altercation, even owning his sneakers.
With no official word from Scott and WWE choosing to move forward without him, it appears the collaboration has ended for now.
