The rapper since contributing to Adidas through his Yeezy deal the rapper is now doubling down expressing that he wants a official spot on the board of the label.
Kanye West took to Twitter to share a very bold statement. the rapper is now planning to wear Jordan sneakers until he is on the board of the major label of Adidas. The rapper will now be wearing sneakers such as Air Jordans even when he is in the helm of his Adidas and Yeezy brand.
Ye tweeted “I’M WEARING JORDANS TILL I’M ON THE BOARD OF ADIDAS [skiing emoji]”. the rapper then later deleted the tweet of his official Twitter account. Kanye surely tweets and deletes many big statements off his account. Fans surely caught attention to the tweet he made about Jordans and Adidias.
The tweet by the 43 year old rapper has now also highlighted that he does not hold a board seat at Adidas. It comes as a surprise that he doesn’t hold a seat even when his Yeezy Adidas sneaker has surpassed over 1.3 billion in sales last year. It is also a shock because just a week ago Ye and somewhat said he was on the Adidas board. \
During Kanye’s interview with Nick Cannon he had also said that his Adidas contract should allow him to wear Air Jordans, he said “Jordans need to be part of reparations. You can’t tell a Black man not to wear Jordan. It should be in any deal. And also you can wear your friends clothes.”. Just before Kanye posted the Adidas post he also posted that he will not be releasing any Yeezy Gap clothing until he is also on the board.
