YoungBoy Reportedly Made J Cole Wait In The Studio For 8 Hours But Never Showed Up! During a recent live session on Twitch, DJ Akademiks revealed that YoungBoy Never Broke Again was supposed to join rapper J. Cole on a track with but the Louisiana emcee allegedly missed out on the rare opportunity. Young Boy allegedly left J. Cole waiting for him at a studio for 8 hours.
According to Akademiks, YoungBoy allegedly had a lot going on in his personal life at the time and bringing any negative vibes to their studio session is the last thing he wanted.
“Youngboy be going through shit. He’s living life, he’s going through shit. YoungBoy said, ‘Yo, my energy is not fit to be in the studio with that guy.’ It wasn’t about J. Cole. It was just that he, and personally what he was going through, wasn’t fit to be in that environment.”
Akademiks goes on to say that YoungBoy,who isn’t known to be the most “courteous” person, failed to inform Cole that he wouldn’t make it, leaving the North Carolina emcee patiently waiting for his arrival in futility.
“J. Cole waited in the studio for eight hours for YoungBoy to show up,” Akademiks said. “YoungBoy didn’t show up. Facts. These are facts! Your favorite rapper, nigga. J. Cole? He sat in the studio for eight hours for a session with YoungBoy. YoungBoy never showed up.”
Social media users had varied reactions about Akakademiks story. Some wondered the imagination of having the two emcees on the same track. Some people held the view that YoungBoy missed out on a rare opportunity, while others agreed that his mental health was more important.
