Snoop Dogg Explains Why Eminem Is Not In His Top 10 List Of Rappers. The veteran rapper shared on an interview which rapper have not made is top 10 list, the rapper has not shared the whole list yet.
Snoop Dogg shared during a Power 105.1 interview on Wednesday that even though Eminem is credited as a high class and well noted rapper, he can npt be the one to shine the light to the MCs and rappers from the 1980s.
Snoop mentioned Dr. Dre and the work he had been doing back in the days. The rapper then went on to mention Eminem, he said the “Kamikaze” rapper cannot compete with the forefathers of hip hop. “Eminem, the great White hope” the rapper explained that that is how Eminem was during a time when white people had no respect for rap.
The 48 year old rapper explained that the ‘I’m Not Afraid’ rapper is where he is because of Dr. Dre ,and that Dre is the one that made him be the best he can be and made him be considered as a top 10 rapper.Snoop then stated that Eminem personally to him is not a top 10 rapper. The rapper said ” Dr. Dre has probably put Eminem in the position to where he could be one of the top 10 rappers ever, I don’t think so.”
It may be the Snoop does not fully credit Eminem because he was mostly assisted by another rap mogul in the game. It may be that he did not reach the top on his own. Rappers are usually assisted by a support structure of other rappers and producers they end up archiving with assistance and support.
The hosts of the radio show had shared that the “Doggystyle” rappers music made it back in the 1990s during the times of old noted legendary record labels such as Death Row Records started off. The also spoke about how Dr. Dre has played an instrumental role in putting many rappers on the light, rappers such as 50 Cent, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar.
