Lil Baby Sparks Speculation About Gunna in New Song “Otha Boy”

Lil Baby has fueled speculation about tension with Gunna after releasing his new single, “Otha Boy,” ahead of his upcoming album, THE LEAK$. On the track, Baby raps: “Make a rapper take his clothes off, that boy a male stripper / Try to speak on me to throw it off, these n**s still snitchin’ / This lil’ button on the back will show a na how to switch up / Push up on ’em at the gym, I hope ’em n**s doin’ they push-ups / For a fact, you n***s hoes, the city knows this ain’t no diss song.”

Fans quickly connected the lyrics to Gunna, pointing to his recent fitness-focused lifestyle. Social media users on X (formerly Twitter) called for Lil Baby to explicitly name Gunna. One user wrote, “Just say Gunna’s name bruh,” while another commented, “Oh yea he wanna diss Gunna…Gunna bout to go on a generational run.”

Gunna has been highly visible for his fitness routine. In 2024, he told XXL that he had been working out consistently for a year, following a six-day-a-week training schedule and a clean diet. Earlier this year, he hosted the “Wunna Run 5k” marathon in New York City, further showcasing his focus on health and endurance.

The two rappers, who have collaborated on multiple hits over the years, reportedly have a strained relationship. In a 2024 interview with Charlamagne tha God on the Out of Context series, Lil Baby stated they currently have “no relationship.” When confronted with claims that he cannot make hits without Gunna, Baby dismissed the notion, saying, “The internet will say anything. You know how many hits I got? So, that don’t even make sense.”

The release of “Otha Boy” has reignited questions about the state of Lil Baby and Gunna’s relationship, leaving fans eager to see if either artist responds with new music.
