Albums Released Last Week
Danny Brown led the week with Stardust, an experimental pop-leaning project featuring Jane Remover, underscores, Quadeca, femtanyl, JOHNNASCUS, 8485, and Frost Children. Brown calls it the album he has always wanted to make, pushing boundaries while maintaining his signature energy.
Armand Hammer and The Alchemist returned with their second collaborative project, Mercy. The album delivers left-field, cerebral rap with contributions from Earl Sweatshirt, Quelle Chris, Pink Siifu, Cleo Reed, Kapwani, and Silka.
G Herbo released Lil Herb, featuring Anderson .Paak, Wyclef Jean, Jeremih, and Turbo the Great, blending introspective lyrics with infectious beats. Bun B teamed up with Cory Mo on Way Mo Trill, featuring Pimp C, Juicy J, Project Pat, 8Ball & MJG, Young Dro, Jay Worthy, Z-Ro, LaRussell, and Jazze Pha. Jim Jones delivered The Fall Before the Rise, further grounding last week in classic hip-hop influences. Alemeda released the EP But What the Hell Do I Know, featuring Doechii and Rachel Chinourir.

Lil Baby dropped “Try to Love,” produced by Baby Tsunami, Gabe Lucas, and wzzptom, showcasing his melodic approach to street rap. Quavo collaborated with Yeat and BNYX on “New Trip (Real Lyfe Shit),” produced by BNYX and Sapjer, continuing his energetic club-ready streak.
Sexyy Red released “For No Reason,” produced by Truebeatzz and ZachOnTheTrack, adding a confident, unapologetic voice to the scene. NLE Choppa’s “Media Day Freestyle,” produced by Havoc, responded to NBA YoungBoy. Ice Spice delivered “Pretty Privilege,” and A$AP Ferg dropped “P.O.L.O.” Wiz Khalifa released “It’s Been a Minute” featuring RMR, produced by Akachi and Lukovic.
Marco Plus released “Jamal Crawford” with Boldy James, produced by Graymatter and Chri$$ianity, highlighting smooth lyricism. redveil released “Lone Star” featuring Carolyn Malachi ahead of his upcoming album sankofa. Erick Sermon reunited Snoop Dogg with the late Nate Dogg on “Like That.” Domo Genesis released SCRAM! featuring Evidence and 3wayslim. DJ Snake collaborated with Future and Travis Scott on “Tsunami,” while Thundercat released “Upside Down (Candy Crush).” Oh No dropped “Rooftop Shottas” featuring Ghostface Killah, Aloe Blacc, and Tristate. BunnaB released “Sweet Lick,” and Joey Purp delivered “Alaska” featuring Vic Mensa and femdot.
