2026 Grammy Nominations Announced Kendrick Lamar Leads With Nine Nods

The 2026 Grammy nominations have been revealed, and Kendrick Lamar is once again at the forefront. Following the chart-topping success of GNX and its series of hit singles, Kendrick leads all artists with nine nominations, including each of the “Big Three” categories: Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. He previously won Song and Record of the Year this year for his Drake diss “Not Like Us.”

Kendrick is also a strong contender across all four hip-hop categories: Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, and Best Melodic Rap Performance. He is further recognized in Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for his collaboration with SZA on “30 For 30.” His competition in rap includes Clipse, Tyler, The Creator, JID, GloRilla, Cardi B, Doechii, and archrival Drake, whose only nomination is in Best Melodic Rap Performance.
