Doja Cat Announces First-Ever Vie World Tour With New Album on the Way

Doja Cat will take on the world this November with the launch of her first-ever world tour. The announcement came on Thursday evening, August 21, as she revealed plans for the Vie World Tour in support of her upcoming album. The tour will include stops in Japan, Thailand, Australia, and more. Pre-sale tickets begin on Monday, August 25.
The Grammy-winning artist shared the news on Instagram with the caption: “Tour Ma Vie starts soon. Presale starts Monday local time. Go to dojacat.com for more details.” The tour is scheduled to kick off November 18 in Auckland and conclude December 21 in Kaohsiung.
To build excitement, Doja also released the album’s lead single, Jealous Type. The track, co-produced by Jack Antonoff and Y2K, was first previewed in her campaign with Marc Jacobs earlier this year. Vie will officially drop on September 26, placing Doja in direct competition with Taylor Swift’s upcoming album The Life of A Showgirl and Cardi B’s long-awaited sophomore album Am I The Drama? Both artists are vying for the top spot on the Billboard charts, setting up a competitive fall release season.
Vie marks a return to pop for Doja Cat after her 2023 album Scarlet. She described the project as a “pop-driven” record that dives into themes of love, romance, and self-reflection. Drawing inspiration from retro ’80s and ’90s influences, the album blends synth-pop and lo-fi sounds with a modern edge. Fans got a taste of the new direction during her Outside Lands performance, where she previewed unreleased tracks including Cards and Take Me Dancing.
In interviews, Doja hinted that Vie reflects a more personal side of her artistry while keeping the energetic sound that has made her one of the most dynamic performers in music today. She also revealed her interest in working with unconventional producers like 9th Wonder, signaling a possible mix of styles in her future releases.
A second leg of the Vie World Tour is expected to follow. Industry insiders note that an extension will likely depend on the performance of Jealous Type and the reception of Doja’s personal favorite track from the album, Gorgeous.
With a highly anticipated album, a global tour, and direct chart competition with music’s biggest names, Doja Cat is gearing up for one of the most defining moments of her career.
