Revealed: Why Bobby Shmurda Hasn’t Released “First Day Out” Track

Why Bobby Shmurda Hasn’t Released First Day Out Track! It was a sigh of relief for Bobby Shmurda when he was recently set free following a six-year prison bid at the Clinton Correctional Facility in New York, on Feb. 23. Shmurda’s release saw the hip-hop community welcome him with open arms and was marked by high profile celebrations as his family; friends and relatives welcomed him back home with so much excitement.

The “Hot Ni**ga” rapper is currently enjoying his first months as a free man, but fans are still waiting on his “First Day Out” release. In Hip Hop, it’s a customary tradition that tracks often arrive within a week or two of someone being released from custody, however, Shmurda’s camp has since remained silent. The Miami native was granted parole last month and immediately re-united back into the Rap scene but according to a recent report by Two Bees TV, Shmurda is apparently dealing with label issues.

According to the report, Shmurda is signed to Epic Records and he was supposed to have released his debut project before going to prison 6 years ago. However, Roc Nation allegedly wants Shmurda to join their team, but before he can switch sides, he is required to fulfill his prior obligation. Neither Shmurda, Epic, nor Roc Nation has confirmed or denied the report.

Two Bees also confirmed that when they spoke with Shmurda back in 2016 while he was still in Prison, the rapper revealed that his ace Rowdy Rebel was dropped from Epic after releasing their “Computers” collaboration. It’s unclear if the rapper is going to lock down Roc Nation management or he is going to jump Epic’s ship altogether, but it looks like Jay-Z and Co. are not already doing everything that’s within their means to have Shmurda on their team.
