Tekashi 6ix9ine’s “ZAZA” Makes Its Way To Top 100! Tekashi 6ix9ine has had a controversial past inviting backlash from most artists and the hip-hop community at the large. So much so that fueling conflict among fellow rappers has become an essential part of his pre-release rollout plan. And as much as that may have grown quite bothersome for a great number of listeners, there still remains quite a good number of loyal fans proudly pledging their allegiance to the controversial rapper. So much so that the rapper’s new single “ZAZA,” which he released immediately after his heated altercation with rapper Meek Mill, has officially found its way into the Billboard Hot 100.
Though the single didn’t gain as much momentum as that of some of his previous singles , the very fact that the rapper managed to score a position on the Hot 100 is proof enough that the game isn’t quite done with him just yet. Even if some people may simply be tuning in to hate-watch, as is often the case in this age of ours, that’s not going to stop the numbers from going up. As we speak, “ZAZA” is currently at the 90th spot, a position that will be reviewed in the next Hot 100 update.
As is the expectation, it’s likely that this new development will spark some responses from both sides of warring camps. The fans will stick to the view that that 6ix9ine is capable of causing waves despite the fact that he is surrounded by detractors and similar industry types. The haters will of course counter by claiming that despite all of 6ix9ine’s trash-talking and boasting, he did not manage to make any real impact on the commercial front. On that note, following the underwhelming release of his recent Tattle Tales album, it’s interesting to see “ZAZA” rack up as much interest as it has.
