B.G. Clarifies Viral Birdman “Sleeping” Moment During Hot Boys Reunion

A recent viral video of Birdman standing motionless on stage during a Hot Boys performance had fans concerned about the Cash Money mogul’s well-being. The clip, which shows Birdman with his head down for over 15 seconds, sparked widespread speculation about whether he had fallen asleep mid-performance.

However, B.G. has now set the record straight. Speaking to XXL, the rapper dismissed the rumors and explained that Birdman was simply reading the teleprompter.

“He was just reading the teleprompter, ya heard me?” B.G. said. “They just got him on a bad angle, and we had a good laugh about it for a week. All of us laughed, josted off each other, josted off him because we thought it was funny.”

He also emphasized that Birdman has never been involved with hard drugs and has always been focused on business. “Stunna ain’t never did no hard drugs. He always been strictly about the bag,” he added.

Turk Also Defends Birdman

B.G. isn’t the only one defending Birdman. Turk also addressed the viral clip during an interview with Atlanta radio host B High ATL, dismissing the online chatter.

“They gonna always turn something into something that ain’t, you know what I’m saying?” Turk said. “We have different little moments where we have to look down and see what’s going on. Baby don’t give a f***. Baby come right back out there the next day and talk some s*** again.”

Birdman himself has yet to comment on the situation, but it’s clear his Cash Money family has his back.

The Hot Boys Are Back

The incident hasn’t slowed down the Hot Boys’ highly anticipated reunion. Birdman, Lil Wayne, Juvenile, B.G., and Turk have been hitting stages across the country, reigniting the magic of their early Cash Money days.

Next month, they’ll take their reunion to one of hip-hop’s biggest platforms: J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina. The performance will feature not only the Hot Boys but also Birdman and Mannie Fresh as the Big Tymers.

Joining them on the festival lineup are artists like 21 Savage, Erykah Badu, PARTYNEXTDOOR, GloRilla, and J. Cole himself, ensuring an unforgettable weekend for hip-hop fans.

Despite the internet’s undefeated ability to turn moments into memes, Birdman and the Hot Boys are proving they’re still here to put on a show.
