Out of the new crop of upcoming talent, Lil Wayne has a soft spot for Lil Baby, calling the 4PF honcho his favorite artist. It now appears that Lil Wayne’s playlist also features another artist that has been making some funny noise over the last couple of years, Chicago veteran Lil Durk. Lil Durk recently released his “Kanye Crazy” video and apparently this has impressed Lil Wayne.
Directed by Cole Bennett, “Kanye Krazy” features Lil Durk recreating some of Kanye West’s craziest moments of all time. The is seen rapper snatching the microphone from a Taylor Swift lookalike, hops on his motorcycle for a “Bound 2” remake, throws on the shutter shades, recruits some ballerinas for a “Runaway” tribute, and more. However there is one scene in particular that got Lil Wayne’s jaw dropping!
“Hardest shot ever,” said Lil Wayne on Instagram about the final shot in Lil Durk’s video, a recreation of Kanye’s “Famous” video. However, instead of sleeping in a bed with Kim Kardashian, Caitlyn Jenner, Donald Trump, and others, Lil Durk lays with a bunch of baddies.
Well for an artist such as Lil Wayne admitting that you’ve come up with the “hardest shot ever” is not only a compliment for Lil Durk, but also a huge feat for Cole Bennett, who continues to state his prominence in hip-hop videography.
