Kendrick Lamar, MF DOOM and Burna Boy are among artists whose songs have been featured In Joe Biden’s Inauguration Playlist. The playlist is available on Soundcloud.
HipHopDX reports that Issa Rae’s Raedio imprit, DJ D-Nice, and the Presidential Inaugural Committee met recently to come out with the official inauguration playlist. From the playlist, there’s no doubt the next US President has a thing for Hip-Hop.
The 1 hour 20 minutes playlist, features music from Kendrick Lamar, MF Doom, Mac Miller, Mary J Blige, N.E.R.D, Burna Boy, Kota The Friend, A Tribe Called Quest, Destiny’s Child, KAYTRANADA among others.
Kendrick Lamar’s selection is the Mary J Blige-assisted “Now Or Never,” Mac Miller’s is “Blue World,” and MF DOOM’s is “Coffin Nails.”
The inauguration ceremony will also include live performances from Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato, among others.
