Hip Hop Artists React To Donald Trump’s Historic Impeachment! President Donald Trump has been impeached! Trump was impeached Wednesday (Jan 13) by the U.S House of Representatives. Trump will go down in History as the first US president to be impeached twice.
Trump was charged with “incitement of insurrection” after a crowd of Pro-Trump rioters violently stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6, which led to the death of 5 people and a lockdown of the entire building.
The House voted 232-197 to impeach Trump, with 10 Republicans who chose to vote against Trump. Trump was first impeached by the House back in 2019 over his relationship with Ukraine. Luckily for him, the Senate voted in 2020 acquitting him.
As the trial was happening and as the news of Trump’s impeachment unfolded, a number of celebrity artists took to social media to weigh in on the matter.
