5 People Arrested For Pop Smoke’s Death Few Days After His Album Release! On Thursday police went on a search, found and arrested 5 people who were connected to the murder of Pop Smoke.
The suspects reportedly told authorities that they did not personally know Pop Smoke and didn’t have an intention to shoot him. They went to his house after seeing his address online. Three of the suspects are adults and two are juveniles. They were all arrested on on the 9th of July.
The Los Angeles Police department had confirmed that they initially had six suspects but only found five who were taken into police custody.
The Brooklyn raper was shot and killed in his Hollywood Hills home in February 2020. Police had suspected that it was a home invasion. Men dressed in black hoodies entered his house at 04:00 am and fired multiple shots.
Following the death of the ‘Dior’ rapper, social media users discovered that he had accidentally shared his address after posting pictures of gifts which were sent to his home. He had also posted a picture of him and his friend holding a large stash of money. the money could have been a motive for why the men would want to rob and invade his home.
The rapper was working on his album which has been recently released as his first posthumous album. The album is titled “Shoot For The Star, Aim For The Moon“, executive produced by 50 Cent and has a lot of big name features. His album is currently doing very well on iTunes and other streaming platforms.
