Travis Scott Opens Jackboys 2 Pre-Orders, Fuels Hype Ahead of Imminent Release

Travis Scott has officially opened pre-orders for Jackboys 2, setting the stage for what could be one of the biggest hip-hop releases of the summer. Though the album’s release date remains under wraps, the new drop on his website strongly suggests that fans won’t be waiting long.

Available now via Scott’s online store, fans can purchase physical and digital versions of Jackboys 2, each featuring distinct artwork. The vinyl editions come in two designs: the “Mask Cover” and the “Bolt Cover,” while the digital version is bundled with the “Gang Cover.” Additionally, CDs and exclusive merchandise have been made available, sparking a rush of early purchases from fans eager to get their hands on the highly anticipated project.

While full album details have yet to be revealed, Jackboys 2 is expected to include high-profile collaborations with Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, 21 Savage, GloRilla, and South African star Tyla. Travis dropped the lead single, “2000 EXCURSION,” earlier this week, giving listeners a preview of the sonic direction and team energy that defined the first Jackboys compilation back in 2019.

The rollout, however, isn’t just about the music—it arrives amid renewed tension between Travis Scott and Pusha T. On Clipse’s latest track, “So Be It,” Pusha delivers pointed bars seemingly aimed at Scott, rapping, “You cried in front of me, you died in front of me / Calabasas took your b*tch and your pride in front of me / Her Utopia had moved right up the street / And her lip gloss was poppin’, she ain’t need you to eat.”

In a resurfaced segment from a GQ interview, Pusha explained the backstory, revealing frustration over Travis playing the song “Meltdown” for him and Pharrell, only to later add a verse from Drake that dissed Pharrell. The Virginia rapper also questioned Scott’s allegiances, citing his silence on previous disses involving Kanye West and his excitement over Future and Metro Boomin’s Like That, another Drake-targeting track.

Travis Scott has not responded directly to the diss, but his social media activity raised eyebrows. Shortly after a satirical post joked about Jackboys 2 releasing on the same day as Clipse’s upcoming album Let God Sort Em Out (dropping July 11), Scott followed the parody X (formerly Twitter) account Wurrco—adding more fuel to the rumors that he may be strategically positioning his release.

As speculation mounts, fans are watching closely. Whether Jackboys 2 lands on July 11 or another date, one thing is clear: Travis Scott is ready to make another major impact on the charts and the culture. And with tension simmering behind the scenes, the music may only be part of the story.
