G-Eazy announces the release of a new effort titled Everything’s Strange Here

G-Eazy revealed that he is releasing a new effort titled Everything’s Strange Here on June 5. This is after his previous announcement of the album These Things Happen Too is still happening, he then explained that he just had to get this one out first.

Gerald Earl Gillum (born May 24, 1989), known professionally as G-Eazy, is an American rapper. His first major-label album, These Things Happen, was released on June 23, 2014, and peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard 200. His second studio album, When It’s Dark Out, was released on December 4, 2015. It featured the single “Me, Myself & I”, which reached the top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100. His third album, The Beautiful & Damned, was released on December 15, 2017, featuring “No Limit” which reached number 4 of the US Billboard Hot 100. His EP B-Sides, released on June 27, 2019 (updated on August 22 and September 19, 2019), included all the songs that didn’t make it to his upcoming album These Things Happen Too, expected to be released in 2020.

He also said the following “This project is a representation of where my heart and head have been at. It’s honest and pure – it’s me. Take it or leave it – this is how I feel. These Things Happen Too, right around the corner. With that being said, Everything’s Strange Here, June 5th.”

G-Eazy also explains how 8 weeks ago he did not think he’d be needing to make this project by now.

This was his caption:

“8 weeks ago I didn’t know I needed to make this. The world has been turned upside down and inside out – but a lot of us have had the fortunate opportunity to self reflect, grow and evolve. This project is a representation of where my heart and head have been at. It’s honest and pure – it’s me. Take it or leave it – this is how I feel. These Things Happen Too, right around the corner. With that being said, Everything’s Strange Here, June 5th.”
