Tinashe Shares About Her Love For Weed On Jay-Z’s Monogram Series ‘High Tales’! Jay-Z launched his own cannabis brand under the MONOGRAM banner end of last year. Besides launching the brand, he debuted a new High Tales digital series, which aims to bring funny stories from all notable pop culture figures who dabble in the drug. The series looks at the use of Cannabis by different artists in Monogram’s sphere- from Jadakiss, N.O.R.E. to Tinashe, whose episode aired on Friday February 26, 2021.

Singer and actress Tinashe speaks about her affinity for weed in a recent video for JAY-Z’s MONOGRAM cannabis brand. In Episode 3 of “High Tales,” the BET Awards nominee also opens up about how smoking factors into her creative process.

The last episode of the series featured rapper N.O.R.E. who shared in detail about his journey with cannabis and the effect it has had on his creativity. The third episode of the series had Tinashe, who opened up about the growing cultural acceptance of marijuana and the entire social experience of smoking marijuana.

“It’s been interesting to see how weed culture has changed over the past few years,” shares Tinashe in the video. “How we get our weed and talk about it has definitely evolved since it became legal, but at the end of the day, good weed still sets a special vibe.”

She goes further, “Whether it’s bonding with strangers at a concert or freestyling in the studio, I’ve always loved the way it brings people together.”

The short-form video interview lasts about 4 minutes, featuring more candid cannabis stories from the talented singer, 28. Check out the full episode of High Tales with Tinashe below. 

Elsewhere, the songstress recently gave out her vocals for a rendition of Chaka Khans 70s hit “I’m Every Woman,” blending both Khan’s classic sound and Whitney Houston’s deep house version of the song in the 90s.
