Saweetie Rules Out Beef With Cardi B, Announces Plans To Collaborate! Saweetie and Cardi B‘s fans were debating the possibility of the two chart- topping rappers secretly being at odds back in February. The fact that Cardi B is married to Offset and Saweetie to Quavo, it was their fans expectation that the women will end up interacting even more.
Cardi B’s sister Hennessy Carolina quickly shut down rumors that there was any beef between the two artist saying the ladies didn’t have such a thing with one another and were actually looking forward to collaborate. Saweetie has now confirmed that information during a recent sit-down with The Breakfast Club.
Hip Hop culture has never been short of beef. Since the inception of Hip Hop, there have been numerous verbal battles and wars regarding who is the greatest lyrically, what rapper has the best flow, and which one consistently drops the hardest bars. With the invent of social media, issues of pitting one artist against another have become common. Social media has now become a leading force of entertainment, with fans introducing new ways of pitting rappers against one another. Rising beef levels have recently been witnessed which at times turn violent or even deadly.

“Yeah, our teams have definitely been talking. I think we’re just kinda waiting for that right record,” she said. Saweetie explained citing why she believes things were blown out of proportion. “I think the media just likes to take things out of context. I’m loving how women artists are starting to realize that sometimes it’s the media that creates something that’s not there. I think it just shows mature and it shows growth amongst me and my peers to not be affected by what the media says.”
