Migos Teases New “Culture 3” Trailer! 3 years have gone by since Migos delivered a project as a trio. The group took the music industry by storm back in 2016-2018. Having been triggered by a Donald Glover shout-out during his acceptance speech at the 2017 Golden Globes, the release of their Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper, “Bad and Boujee” took on a life of its own. Since then the group’s career has seen a meteoritic rise. Their second studio album, Culture was released in 2017, followed by a double-platinum effort in its sequel, Culture II in 2018.
In the last 3 years, Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff have gone ahead to release collaboration albums, solo projects, among others. Before the end of 2020, both Quavo and Offset were very vocal about their progress with regards to the delivery of the Culture trilogy. Migos celebrated the 4 year anniversary of the project that launched their careers into orbit On Wednesday (Jan. 27). Before commencing the celebration, they released the Culture III trailer, giving fans an in-depth look into “The Process of 3.”
“We’ve just been having time to bond with each other and time to spend with each other because our solo careers have allowed us to do different things,” says Quavo.
He spoke about their growth over the last 4 years as both he and Offset are in two highly-publicized relationships.
“We’re coming back on our third album, so it’s time to bust they a**,” he stated.
“I ain’t get no sleep last night,” said Takeoff. I’ve been in the studio, knocking out some bangers.”
The trio also talked about their life during 2020’s nation-wide quarantine thanks to COVID 19 and how it has helped them to grow as individuals.
The trio is now fully back and ready to release of Culture III.
