Lil Flip Open To T.I “Verzuz” Idea

Lil Flip Open To T.I “Verzuz” Idea!

Lil Flip Open To T.I “Verzuz” Idea! Lil Flip is now ready for a verzuz against T.I.  thanks to a recent interview. Their beef dates back in 2005, when Flip and Tip found themselves into a fight in H-Town. Following the fight, their relationship remained hostile for such a long time.  Well, the rappers have since buried the hatchet and during an appearance on the Donnie Houston Podcast, the rapper was asked if he would appear on Verzuz as a show of solidarity akin to what Gucci Mane and Jeezy did on the program.

“That was historic,” Flip said. “Shout out to Jeezy and Gucci, man. That was big for the culture.” Donnie Houston wanted to know if Flip would be willing to pair with T.I. on the platform. “A lot of people ask that,” said the rapper. “I don’t know. It’s possible, but if Verzuz want me to do something, man, Imma need a real, real big bag, ’cause somebody makin’ some money off of that. Somebody gettin’ some money. You know what I mean? But uh, yeah, it’s possible. It’s gon’ take a real nice bag.”

Lil Flip was also asked if there was a Houston-centered Verzuz, which hometown artist would he like to go up against. “Hey, when you the best, it don’t matter,” he answered. “It don’t matter. And even with the Verzuz, it’s crazy, man. And just to see two artists—it’s a dope ass idea though. But I’m Flip Mayweather. You put ’em in front of me, Imma knock ’em all out.”

The verzuz battle was introduced during quarantine as a virtual DJ battle, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. Timbaland and Swizz Beatz pioneered the face off during the first iteration via Instagram Live in March 2020. The battle has since gained traction with a number of artists taking up the challenge. The latest verzuz went down last Friday, Jan 22 between Ashanti and Keyshia Cole.
