Tamar Braxton is “awake and alert” after suicide attempt
Grammy Award winning musician, Toni Braxton is awake and alert after suicide attempt. The musician who has sold over 67 million records worldwide, including 41 million albums, won seven Grammy Awards, nine Billboard Music Awards, seven American Music Awards, and numerous other accolades and one of the highest-selling female R&B artists in history was found unresponsive by her boyfriend in her LA home.
Preliminary reports suggests Toni overdosed on prescription medication. According to latest reports “her situation has improved since her hospitalization. She has been transferred to another facility for further evaluation and treatment,” her rep confirmed.
Toni was visited by her sisters Towanda, Trina and Traci, and stars including Tiny Harris, Viola Davis, Nene Leakes and Claudia Jordan.
