“Today, I’m giving my fans access to pre-order my specially signed Vie vinyl & CD!” she wrote. “Every week I’m dropping new, exclusive albums on my store so stay tuned for more, including the first vinyl from my ‘Love Languages Collection.’”

Fans responded enthusiastically in the comments. One wrote, “She’s coming to save the music industry.” Another added, “MOTHER OF US ALL WE’RE READYYYYYYYYY.”

Vie is set to release on September 26, 2025. Before the full album drops, Doja Cat will release the lead single, “Jealous Type,” on August 21, 2025. The track was produced by Y2K and Jack Antonoff and debuted live at the 2025 Outside Lands festival.

Following a hip-hop-focused approach on her previous album, Scarlet in 2023, Doja Cat is returning to a more pop-driven sound for Vie. She explained to V Magazine that her focus is on production quality rather than chasing success. “What I want to avoid is that little monster that just wants success,” she said. “I want to focus more on: how does the mix sound? Do I even need these instruments here? Do I need to recut this verse? It’s how things sound that makes the music worth listening to. I would not be an artist if I didn’t care, right?”

With pre-orders live and the lead single on the way, anticipation for Vie continues to build among fans and music critics alike.
