Roddy Ricch Delays Third Album Again and Fans Express Frustration

Fans have been eagerly awaiting Roddy Ricch’s third studio album, The Navy Album. Initially expected last December, the project has faced multiple delays. Most recently, it was set to release on October 24, but the rapper has now postponed it to December 5.

The repeated pushbacks have frustrated supporters. The album was previously expected in February, April, July, and October, according to updates from @ohfold on X. Fans have taken to social media to express their impatience. Some joke about the delays, comparing them to high-profile game releases, while others worry the album may be postponed again.

“This better be the best piece of artistic expression ever bro,” one fan tweeted. Another wrote, “His album is gonna end up having more release dates than tracks,” highlighting the growing anticipation and frustration.

Roddy Ricch has offered some insight into what fans can expect from The Navy Album. In an Apple Music interview last year, he described it as one of his most vulnerable projects. He promised a personal, authentic experience that would give listeners a close look at his life.

“I’m just getting back to my roots of taking my time, being real lethal with my injection,” he said. “Just trying to really just give it everything I got and being vulnerable as I can to my fans, allowing them into my life. They’re going to get a real experience, almost like a soundtrack, a movie experience of what my life is like.”

Despite the delays, fans remain hopeful the album will deliver a unique, immersive experience. The Navy Album is now scheduled to release on December 5.
