Mac Miller Fans Celebrate Three Unreleased Tracks on GO:OD AM 10th Anniversary Edition

Mac Miller fans have been treated to three previously unreleased songs as part of the 10th anniversary edition of GO:OD AM. Released on streaming platforms on October 3, the new tracks include “Cable Box,” “Carpe Diem,” and “Royal Flush,” the latter featuring a collaboration with Vinny Radio.

Production on the songs was handled by longtime Mac collaborator ID Labs, who produced “Cable Box” and “Royal Flush.” “Carpe Diem” features atmospheric production from Clams Casino, who had previously worked with Mac on Blue Slide Park, Macadelic, and Watching Movies With the Sound Off.

Among the three, “Carpe Diem” stands out for its blend of introspective lyrics and melodic yet melancholic delivery. Mac reflects on the highs and lows of his rise to fame, with a line early in the track resonating deeply with fans: “One day I’ma be the greatest, retire my jersey.” The lyric evokes both his ambition and the tragedy of his untimely passing seven years ago.

The 10th anniversary edition of GO:OD AM marks Mac Miller’s second posthumous release in 2025, following Balloonerism, which was released in January by his estate. The original GO:OD AM sessions featured collaborations with SZA and Thundercat and were recorded in 2014, around the same period as Faces. The project was initially shelved in favor of Mac’s major label debut.

The original 14-track album highlighted Mac Miller’s artistic growth as he experimented with new sounds, instruments, and genres. Upon its release, GO:OD AM debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, earning 81,000 units in its first week. The 10th anniversary edition allows fans to revisit Mac’s evolving artistry while discovering previously unheard material that adds depth to his legacy.
