Clipse Release Heartfelt Music Video for The Birds Don’t Sing

Clipse have captured fans’ hearts with the music video for The Birds Don’t Sing, the emotional opener from their 2025 comeback album Let God Sort Em Out. The five-minute visual elevates the song’s tribute to their late parents, blending intimate performance shots with poignant storytelling.

The video opens with Pusha T’s son, Nigel, placing flowers at his grandparents’ grave, immediately setting a tone of reflection and family connection. The duo performs their verses inside their childhood home in Virginia Beach, a setting that brings the song’s lyrics to life and emphasizes the personal nature of the track.

Throughout the video, viewers see imagery that mirrors the strength and love within their family. Scenes of family spaces, old photos, and subtle gestures highlight the bond that persists despite the loss of their parents—mother passing in November 2021 and father in March 2022.

John Legend and choir group Voices of Fire, who feature on the track, add to the emotional weight, making the visuals resonate even more with fans. Lines such as, “Your car was in the driveway, I knew you were home / By the third knock, a chill ran through my bones / The way you missed Mama, I guess I should’ve known,” gain additional power when paired with the imagery.

The release of this video follows Clipse’s historic performance at The Vatican, marking them as the first rappers to perform on that stage. The video for The Birds Don’t Sing highlights Clipse’s growth as artists, showing a deeply personal side while honoring their family legacy, and has quickly become a standout moment in their 2025 comeback.
