Snoop Dogg Turns Leftover Ashes Into Fine Art, Pieces Sell Out Instantly

Snoop Dogg has found success in music, business, television, and even sports. Now he has moved into fine art. According to VIBE, artist Erica Kovitz transformed his leftover ashes, roaches, and other items into an exclusive collection called Ashes to Art. Every piece has already been sold.
The prices reflect the demand. The Pocket High Emerald sold for the lowest at $10,000, featuring a smoked roach encased in epoxy. Doggystyle Decoded, which included an original copy of his debut album Doggystyle, sold for the highest at $20,000. Other works such as Tiphany Smokes, Golden Hour Cypher, and White Whisper sold in the range of $12,500 to $15,000. Each piece came custom-framed, professionally mounted, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
On the auction site, the collection was described as “a true holy grail for fine art collectors, Hip-Hop historians, and cannabis connoisseurs alike.”
Among the last works to sell was Snoop Doggy Dogg Genesis Burn, which went for $70,000. It featured Snoop’s 1993 mugshot and autograph. Another late addition, Orange Chill, sold for $12,600.
This latest venture adds to Snoop Dogg’s expanding portfolio of projects. Beyond art, he was recently announced as the official Community Chairman for the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee.
He confirmed the role in a statement on social media earlier this month. “This isn’t just any tournament, this is the biggest event on the planet, and it’s coming to our city. LA is ready to show up with that signature style, culture and love for the beautiful game. I’m here to make sure the whole world has a great experience in our city, and everyone in our community gets a chance to participate. Stay tuned.”
Snoop Dogg’s move into fine art demonstrates how his influence stretches well beyond music. With every piece in the Ashes to Art collection already sold, demand for his next creative project will likely be just as strong.
