Bryson Tiller is delivering on his promise of a “rap heavy” album with the upcoming release of The Vices. The Louisville artist shared the 12-track project’s official tracklist on Instagram, revealing a lineup stacked with guest appearances from Rick Ross, T-Pain, Luh Tyler, Bun B, Plies, Bossman Dlow, and Baby Drill.
Tiller kept the album concise with just 12 songs, focusing on energetic vibes and showcasing his rapping skills. He described The Vices as “Fun, Energetic, Bars on Bars, Summer Vibes, leaning into my ‘other’ side.”
At the end of July, Tiller opened up about his personal growth during the making of this album. He said, “With The Vices I decided to get rid of my vices completely and prove to myself that I didn’t need Weed, Alcohol, and all the other shenanigans to have FUN. I’ve been sober ever since. (Still tryna figure out how to look like I enjoy the club tho lol).”
The album drops Friday, August 8, via RCA Records and Sony Music Entertainment. Fans can expect a lively, rap-driven project perfect for summer playlists.
The Vices is just part one of a planned double album. The second installment, titled Solace, has no confirmed release date yet but is expected later in 2025. Unlike The Vices, Solace will lean more toward R&B. Tiller described it as “somber, vulnerable, my own personal therapy session. Saying things I wouldn’t normally say out loud. [It’s inspired by the season my life changed 4ever, FALL.]”
