Hot Boy Turk Threatens Legal Action After Being Removed From Cash Money’s 30th Anniversary Tour

Founding member of the legendary New Orleans hip-hop group Hot Boys, Hot Boy Turk, has revealed plans to sue Cash Money Records following his abrupt removal from the group’s highly anticipated 30th anniversary tour. The rapper claims his dismissal stems from a financial dispute after he refused to accept a pay cut demanded by tour organizers due to reportedly poor ticket sales.

Taking to Instagram, Turk shared his frustration: “The same day I rejected less than what was owed, I got hit with a bogus termination notice. Instead of admitting they couldn’t pay fairly, they labeled me a threat.” Alongside the post, he posted screenshots of emails suggesting that his removal was also linked to ongoing tensions with fellow group member B.G., which have played out in public through social media disputes.

Making his stance clear, Turk confirmed his intention to pursue legal action against “all parties” involved in the decision to remove him from the tour lineup.

As of now, Cash Money Records, the tour organizers, and other Hot Boys members have yet to comment publicly on the situation.

The reunion of the Hot Boys, which began last year, has been marked by a series of setbacks and drama. While the group managed to announce the reunion tour, it has seen challenges such as Lil Wayne missing several scheduled dates. Additionally, Cash Money co-founder Birdman made headlines earlier this year when a viral video showed him seemingly nodding off on stage during a performance with Lil Wayne, Juvenile, B.G., and Turk—raising concerns among fans about his health.

Addressing the viral clip, B.G. reassured fans in a recent interview with XXL magazine that Birdman was simply reading a teleprompter and was captured at an unflattering angle. “They just got him on a bad angle and we had a good laugh about it for a week,” B.G. said. “All of us laughed, josted off each other, josted off him because we thought it was funny.” He also emphasized Birdman’s professionalism, stating, “Stunna ain’t never did no hard drugs. He always been strictly about the bag.”

Turk had also previously commented on the incident, urging fans not to worry about Birdman’s wellbeing.

As tensions rise within the Hot Boys camp and legal action looms, fans remain hopeful the iconic group can overcome these hurdles and deliver a memorable reunion tour. The unfolding situation adds another complex chapter to the legacy of one of New Orleans’ most influential rap groups.
