ASAP Rocky Confirms Don’t Be Dumb Will Arrive Before Year-End

ASAP Rocky has assured fans that his long-awaited fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb, will drop before the end of 2025. Speaking with Callum Turner, LaKeith Stanfield, Glen Powell, and Jeremy Allen White for a new Vanity Fair feature, Rocky gave insight into the project’s progress and collaborators.

“Danny Elfman, he just did my album with me that I’m putting out this year. He scored a bunch of the songs on my new album,” Rocky revealed, highlighting the high-profile collaboration. The artist has not set a firm release date after delaying the album indefinitely in 2024. In an October interview with Numéro Magazine, he hinted at a possible surprise release, saying, “To be honest, I don’t want to talk about release dates anymore. I’d rather let the music speak for itself. One day, you’ll wake up and see what’s coming up.”

Despite the album’s delay, Rocky remains active in other creative fields. He discussed his continued interest in acting with Vanity Fair, describing it as “just another component of the great arts” and calling himself a “Renaissance man.” He recently appeared in Spike Lee’s film Highest 2 Lowest, sharing the screen with Denzel Washington. Reflecting on the experience, Rocky said, “I’m at a place where anytime I’m around an OG, I just soak in game … I would love to be silver and that wise one day myself. And still be handsome.”

Rocky’s personal life has also seen major milestones. In September, he and Rihanna welcomed their third child, Rocki Irish Mayers. The rapper’s focus on family, music, and acting demonstrates his commitment to balancing multiple creative pursuits while keeping fans anticipating his next release.

Don’t Be Dumb remains one of the most anticipated albums of 2025, with Rocky promising that listeners will experience it when the timing is right. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for updates and prepare for a release that could arrive without prior warning.
