Gunna Addresses Snitching Allegations Amid Young Thug Fallout

Gunna has faced snitching allegations for years following his plea deal in the YSL RICO case. Despite persistent speculation, he continues to deny betraying his co-defendants, including his former friend and collaborator Young Thug.

Recently, Gunna was seen at LIV Nightclub in Miami alongside Offset, rapping along to G Herbo’s track “Went Legit.” He notably emphasized the line, “I ain’t snitchin’ on my mans, n**a, fck a fed tap,” a statement fans quickly connected to ongoing debates about his loyalty. The clip, shared by FearBuck on X, surfaced just hours after Lil Baby released his new album, The Leaks.

One track on the album, “Superman,” originally leaked in August and featured a verse where Young Thug called out Gunna by name: “Only reason I f**ked with you Gunna, it was cause of Troup.” On the official release, however, Gunna’s name was removed. Reasons for this change remain unclear, though some fans speculate Young Thug may be seeking to move past the conflict.

Young Thug has largely stayed silent about their fallout but offered insight during an appearance on the Its Up There podcast in September. He said he is not interested in collaborating with Gunna again but still holds affection for him. “I think I’m just in the unpacking phase,” he explained. “It ain’t even about not f*cking with you because I want him to just understand why I feel like it shouldn’t happen again… We love each other, we’re just going our own ways.”

The situation highlights ongoing tension in Atlanta’s rap scene, with both artists navigating personal and professional fallout from legal battles and public perception. Fans continue to watch closely for any signs of reconciliation or further conflict.
