Cardi B Levels Explosive Allegations at Nicki Minaj Amid Ongoing Feud

Cardi B escalated her public feud with Nicki Minaj on Wednesday afternoon, accusing the rapper of serious mental health issues and drug use. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Cardi claimed Minaj had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder nearly a decade ago. She also alleged that Minaj regularly uses cocaine, Percocet, and Xanax.
“Quiet as kept the truth is you BEEN diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar for almost 9 years and you also on heavy drugs COCAINE.. PERCS.. AND XANAX!!!” Cardi wrote. She added that Minaj only listens to her husband, Kenneth Petty, and referenced an American Express card in a pointed warning.
The dispute comes after Minaj reignited tension earlier in the week by criticizing Cardi B’s relationship with NFL player Stefon Diggs. Cardi fired back with personal accusations about Minaj’s family and other provocative claims, leading to several days of back-and-forth posts between the two artists.
Earlier, Cardi had announced she would refrain from responding to Minaj, citing the intensity of the online exchanges. In a prior statement, she referenced alleged childhood trauma experienced by Minaj and advised her to seek therapy instead of relying on drugs. Cardi wrote that Minaj had no real support system outside her husband and warned that continuing the feud could jeopardize her own career and endorsements.
The social media feud underscores the long-standing tension between the two rappers, blending personal allegations with public performances of dominance. Fans and the media continue to watch the exchange closely, highlighting how celebrity conflicts often play out on public platforms.
This latest salvo from Cardi B adds a new layer to one of hip hop’s most high-profile rivalries, raising questions about boundaries, accountability, and the impact of personal claims in online spaces.
