Watch Lil Baby And Megan Thee Stallion Team Up For “On Me” Remix! Lil Baby has dropped the remix for “On Me” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. The pair’s collaboration has been teased for a couple of weeks now but it’s finally here. This comes only a few days after Megan Thee Stallion announced she was taking a hiatus from music and social media, to recharge. The superstar rapper has popped up with her latest feature verse on the remix of Lil Baby’s sultry “On Me” remix.
“On Me” has been one of Lil Baby’s recent success stories, earning platinum certification in less than five months after being released. The track has now racked up over 400 million global streams since its release in December. That said, we expect the brand new music video directed by Mike Ho and a feature verse from the ice-cold Megan Thee Stallion to give the track another boost.
Rappers Lil Baby and Megan Thee Stallion have a few things in common. They individually dropped projects in 2020: My Turn and Good News, respectively. They also both turned up at the recently concluded 2021 Grammy Awards with stunning performances: Lil Baby performed “The Bigger Picture” while Meg did “Body,” “Savage,” and “WAP.” Megan also won multiple awards at the Grammys, including Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance.
Earlier on this month, Megan Thee Stallion released the music video for Good News’ “Movie” and also joined Arkansas rapper Bankroll Freddie in the video for their collaboration “Pop It.”
Following a statement on Thursday (April 22), that announced that the Houston Hottie would be stepping away from music for the time being, Megan made sure to calm her fans’ worries after she clarified on Twitter that she’ll “be back when it’s time.”
