Dr. Dre Denies Wife’s Abuse Allegations, Here’s Why!
Dr. Dre Denies Wife’s Abuse Allegations, Here’s Why! It was first reported last year that Dr. Dre and Nicole Young, his wife of 25 years had reached a decision to part ways, and since then, the billion-dollar divorce has hit the headlines. Young accuses her husband of carrying on multiple affairs in addition to abuse allegations. Nicole first, demanded $2 million in temporary spousal support before returning with domestic violence accusations which she endured during her marriage.
Dr. Dre is now denying Nicole Young’s abuse claims saying it’s all in an attempt by his estranged wife to try and get out of the prenup he insists is still in place.
According to TMZ, Dr. Dre’s legal team has filed new legal documents that reveal he has denied the said allegations. According to Dre, Young’s abuse allegations are false and are causing him a lot of stress. Dr. Dre further accuses Nicole of raising the abuse claims in a bid to mint money from him. He claims young didn’t even mention the allegations until after she filed for divorce only to realize that the prenuptial agreement barred her from laying claim to half his wealth.
According to the court documents Dr. Dre reportedly terms the domestic violence accusations “appalling” and false. Dre goes further to deny Nicole’s claims that he abused her the night before their wedding. Nicole also claims that she was “forced” to sign the prenuptial agreement a claim which Dr. Dre reportedly disagrees with.
The beginning of the year saw Dr. Dre suffer a health scare to the point where he was admitted to the hospital following a brain aneurysm and as earlier reported, these proceedings have been quite “stressful” for the rap mogul. During his hospitalization, Dre agreed to advance $2 million to Nicole Young in Spousal support.
