DMX Reportedly In A Coma, To Undergo “Battery Of Tests” This Week! Soon after Claudia Jordan tweeted that DMX had passed away, TMZ was swift to jump in to dispel the rumors as well as rumors about the rapper’s recovery. The rapper has reportedly been in a “vegetative state” for the last four days following an alleged drug overdose. The rapper, who has previously opened up about his addictions, has had his family, friends, and fans coming to his support with his every new path to recovery.
Millions of people world over have responded with love to the tragic news of DMX’s hospitalization but over the last few days, there has been a lot of misinformation doing rounds even creating more confusion. Jordan’s tweet left fans devastated, but she was quick to apologize.
Even as what led Jordan to believe that DMX had passed away remains unclear, TMZ promptly reported that the news of the rapper’s death isn’t true. “DMX remains in a coma and his condition has not materially changed,” reported the outlet. According to TMZ, the update came from DMX’s manager Steve Rifkind. It was reported that the rapper’s family visited with him yesterday evening (April 6) and that he is scheduled to undergo testing this week.
Further reports also indicate that DMX’s “prognosis does not look good” but X will undergo a “battery of tests” to determine “the level of brain function” on Wednesday (April 7). After the said tests, DMX’s family will have to make tough choices about his future as it’s also stated that he “was deprived of oxygen for about 30 minutes.”
“DMX is currently on life support and in a coma,” Rifkind revealed. “There are multiple people with inaccurate information about his well-being and it is not helpful and productive. Tomorrow he will undergo further tests on his brain function and his family will determine what’s best from there. We appreciate your prayers and support.”
I’m sorry ??
