Singer and actress Tinashe speaks about her affinity for weed in a recent video for JAY-Z’s MONOGRAM cannabis brand. In Episode 3 of “High Tales,” the BET Awards nominee also opens up about how smoking factors into her creative process.
The last episode of the series featured rapper N.O.R.E. who shared in detail about his journey with cannabis and the effect it has had on his creativity. The third episode of the series had Tinashe, who opened up about the growing cultural acceptance of marijuana and the entire social experience of smoking marijuana.
“It’s been interesting to see how weed culture has changed over the past few years,” shares Tinashe in the video. “How we get our weed and talk about it has definitely evolved since it became legal, but at the end of the day, good weed still sets a special vibe.”
She goes further, “Whether it’s bonding with strangers at a concert or freestyling in the studio, I’ve always loved the way it brings people together.”
The short-form video interview lasts about 4 minutes, featuring more candid cannabis stories from the talented singer, 28. Check out the full episode of High Tales with Tinashe below.
