Torry Lanez To Launch Water Brand, Plans To Donate Cases To Texas Storm Victims
Torry Lanez To Launch Water Brand, Plans To Donate Cases To Texas Storm Victims! Things may not have been on Tory Lanez’s side following the not so good the artist received recently with regards to the looming case involving Megan Thee Stallion, but that hasn’t been enough reason to stop him from giving back to society.
It’s not the first time the Canadian artist is coming to the help of people in need, whether they are from marginalized communities or from the lower-income families. The tragedy in Texas has prompted the artist to step up.
Several artists—like Bun B, Trae Tha Truth and Beyoncé are using their means to come to the aid of people affected by the tragic snow storm that caused a massive power backout, pipe leakage that have destroyed homes, freezing temperatures, and deaths including the death of an 11-year-old boy.
Taking to social media on Friday (February 26), the Toronto artist announced plans to launch his own line of alkaline water by the name Umbrella Water and his first order of business will go toward aiding the people affected by the winter storm in Texas, America’s second-largest state.
“Thankful to say I officially just CREATED MY OWN *ALKALINE WATER* BRAND ….. ‘Umbrella Water’,” said the rapper. “THE FIRST THING IM DOING IS GOING TO TEXAS AND DELIVERING A WHOLE BUNCH OF CASES TO THE PEOPLE IN NEED … sh*t y’all ain’t got water … I’ll make it .. and bring it.”
His new venture comes in the wake of the ongoing case with Megan Thee Stallion and just days after a judge denied his request to speak on the situation. Though the artist attempted to address the matter in his September album DAYSTAR, fans may have to wait for a more detailed explanation of the series of events that might have led to Megan being shot.
