On Thursday (March 18, 2021), the pair sparked speculations on social media after they reportedly unfollowed each other on Instagram. This caused many people on social media to immediately make the assumption that the couple’s relationship was no more despite having been termed as ‘one of Hip-Hop’s favorite couples.’
Fans flocked social media to express disappointments regarding the alleged split while at the same time crossing their fingers that the two rappers were somehow still on good terms. As you would expect, some users were more savage in their reactions, while others spared no time and immediately shot their shot at Saweetie. No one really knew then what was going on between Saweetie and Quavo, only for Saweetie to reveal yerterday (Friday, March 19, 2021) that the two have gone their separate ways.

Saweetie confirmed the news Friday afternoon by sharing two tweets. Seemingly hinting at infidelity, the singer-rapper wrote, “I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character.”

Saweetie added “Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.” The pair had become famous for exchanging lavish gifts while their relationship lasted.
