Nipsey Hussle’s Alleged Killer Tries To Get Out Of Jail!

Nipsey Hussle’s Alleged Killer Tries To Get Out Of Jail! In an attempt to get out of prison, the man accused of gunning down Grammy-award winning rapper Nipsey Hussle 2 years ago is asking a judge to reduce his “extremely high” $6.5 million bail. The man claim’s he’s not a risk to the public.

According to the New York Daily News, 31 year old Eric R. Holder Jr., appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom Thursday (March 25) and listened in as his public defender Lowynn Young reportedly filed the bail reduction motion on his behalf.

The public filing maintains that Holder’s criminal history prior to the alleged shooting was “insignificant,” and involves only a single felony conviction in 2012 for carrying a concealed firearm.

“Based on the isolated nature of this case, Mr. Holder does not pose a risk of harm to the public,” states the motion.

“Even a reduction of bail down to $4 million should satisfy any concerns by the court and the District Attorney,” the filing by public defender Lowynn Young states.

The filing further argues that Holder isn’t a flight risk given that he is not a passport holder and has significant family ties to the community, including his father who works for government. Judge Curtis B. Rappé allowed prosecutors until Tuesday (March 30) to respond to the motion setting a follow-up hearing for Tuesday, April 6.

According to prosecutors Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, upon an “unannounced” arrival at his Marathon Clothing store in South Los Angeles on March 31, 2019, was taking photos, talking with friends and signing autographs when Holder arrived.

According to Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney John McKinney he rapper and Holder alegedly had a conversation that “had something to do with Mr. Asghedom accusing Mr. Holder of snitching.”  This is as per transcripts unsealed in June 2019 and obtained by the Daily News.

Holder reportedly left the scene after the conversation, only to return a short while later. Walking up to Hussle and the other men, Holder immediately started pumping multiple rounds into Hussle’s head and body, prosecutors say. “Mr. Holder was firing with two different handguns, trading [shots] between his right and his left hand,” McKinney told the grand jury.
