Megan Thee Stallion Teams Up With Fashion Nova For A $1M Women’s Month 2021 Initiative! Megan Thee Stallion has joined forces with Fashion Nova for a $1 million “Women On Top” initiative that will see grants and scholarships awarded throughout Women’s History Month to women doing their thing. And it wouldn’t have been more befitting, with the announcement coming on International Women’s Day.
“Happy International Women’s Day Hotties!” Megan took to social media with an Instagram post. “@FashionNova and I are excited to announce “Women on Top” – a new female empowerment initiative that will give away $1million dollars in grants and scholarships over the course of this month to amazing women entrepreneurs, female students, women-owned businesses, and women-focused charities. Each recipient will receive $25,000 or more to invest in their future and we will be highlighting these incredible women and organizations each day.”
Megan went on, announcing that the first $25,000 would be going to YWCA Houston for their Center for Women program.
“To kick-off the program, it is my honor to announce the first $25,000 recipient – an organization close to my heart – YWCA Houston,” added Megan. “YWCA has a program called which helps homeless women and girls advance through life and career by providing much needed housing and resources. Megan has also been on the forefront joining other artists in giving back to her hometown with relief aid following February’s tragic winter storm. She also teamed with the National Association of Christian Churches (NACC) Disaster Services and U.S. Representative Sheila Jackson Lee earlier this month to raise funds to rebuild and repair homes for senior citizens and single mothers
Also expected to join the noble cause is Meg’s label 300 Entertainment, Taraji P. Henson, and brand partners Fashion Nova, Mielle, Revlon, The Coach Foundation and Dolce & Gabbana will all be joining as well.
