Watch: Saweetie Reveals Which Wizkid Album She Couldn’t Live Without! Rapper Saweetie whose real name is Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper has revealed one album by Wizkid which she says she couldn’t live without. In a recent interview, the hit-maker told Paper Magazine that Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” is the one album she couldn’t live without in the past year.
“Made in Lagos” is Wizkid’s fourth studio album. In the album, Nigerian recording artist Wizkid features guest appearances from Damian Marley, Skepta, R&B singer H.E.R, Ella Mai, Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Tems, Terri and Tay Iwar.
The album debuted at No. 15 on the UK albums chart and No. 80 on the US Billboard 200 with sales of over 4,100 album-equivalent units. Ginger featuring Burna Boy debuted at No. 67 on the UK singles chart making Wizkid the first artist from Nigeria with two entries on US singles chart from two albums.
Saweetie who recently revealed that she would love to work with Wizkid and Burna Boy confirms that the American rapper is a huge fan of Nigerian musiacians, Burna Boy and Wizkid. Now with her latest revelation regarding Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos, the fact that she is a huge fan of Nigerian musicians Wizkid and Burnaboy is unquestionable.
In a video that made rounds on social media, the hit-maker was asked to mention five artistes she would love to have collabs with and names of the two Nigerian stars popped up. According to Saweetie, she would really like to work with Rihanna, Brent Faiyaz, Kaash Paige, Burna Boy and Wizkid.
