Drake’s Team Shares An Update On “Certified Lover Boy” – When we talk of Hip hop artists with the most awaited releases this year, Drake definitely tops of the list. Unfortunately the rapper has lately been disappointing his fans with a record of postponing the “Certified Lover” release date. The project was initially expected in the summer of 2020. The rapper would then share a trailer for the project in October confirming that it will be out at the beginning of 2021. This however did not happen as the rapper announced that he is still working on the project
Drake has seemingly been busy in studio laying down the vocals for the project. He never revealed when we could expect the project but he gave a hint that it would arrive sometime this year.
“I was planning to release my album this month, but between surgery and rehab, my energy has been dedicated to recovery,” he wrote. “I’m blessed to be back on my feet, feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won’t be dropping in January. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.” he said via Instagram.
Night Owl Sound has since come out to share a message on behalf of Drake even as rumors continue to do rounds about the project.” Anything CLB related will be posted by DRAKE himself. Until then hold a seat and wait on it,” reads the message as shared via Instagram stories.
Suffice it to say, the OVO Camp is asking people to practice a little patience. Hopefully, the end result will be well worth the wait.
