T.I. Shares Powerful Black Lives Matter Message. On Friday 3rd of July, The ‘Live Your Life’ rapper shared a powerful message regarding Black Lives Matter on Instagram.
T.I. shared a photo which had writings which said “Kill a black on sight” and “#WhiteLivesMatter”. This pictured seemed to be a leaflet white people had been handing out to each other during this eventful time of the #BlackLivesMatter cases and the various protest marches taking place.
The rapper wrote a caption on the image which said “This what they on y’all. The hateful racist Whites at it again. While we marching [and] protesting peacefully for equality.” He added on saying “They trying to create a false narrative to oust fear and hate into the hearts & minds of their neighbours. We Are At War. But the good news is God’s only gon fight with 1side.”
T.I.’s post is seen to have given a very encouraging message to call all black people to action, he was trying to encourage the black public to stay strong and vigilant during these times, as white people are also brewing up a problematic false movement on the other hand.
The ‘No Mediocre’ rapper has previously used his social media accounts to speak against systematic racism. He has also hit the streets to join protests in the past month., this shows how he is not only a critic, but an active member of society.
