Rihanna And A$AP Rocky Spotted On Date Night In NYC! It’s 2021 and Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s relationship is still blossoming! Having spent the holiday season together, Rihanna And A$AP Rocky were Spotted On Date Night In NYC, Monday January 18. According to a report by E! News, the couple both 32, were spotted enjoying dinner at popular Italian restaurant Emilio’s Ballato, which is allegedly owned by Katie Holmes’ boyfriend, chef Emilio Vitolo Jr.
“Rihanna arrived with a group of friends and met A$AP Rocky there,” said the source. “They entered the restaurant through different doors and tried to be discreet. A$AP Rocky entered behind a bodyguard and ducked inside quickly. Once everyone arrived, they sat together with a group of friends.”
Reports show that the couple were attending a celebration of the life of A$AP Yams. The event has become a tradition whereby A$AP Rocky and his friends host Yams Day in remembrance of the late A$AP mob founder. However, this year in the wake of the pandemic, the celebration was held virtually.
“Everyone gathered together for dinner and to share stories,” the source added. “There was lots of food passed around the table and laughter coming from inside. They stayed for over two hours before leaving separately. Rihanna left with friends and avoided being seen with Rocky.”
A year ago, Rihanna and Rocky were spotted laughing backstage at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center during Yams Day. The incident raised many eyebrows sparking rumors of romance back then especially coming after Rihanna’s split from Saudi businessman and billionaire Hassan Jameel. However, the relationship didn’t become serious until lately especially having spent the December holidays together.
Rocky travelled to Barbados, Rihanna’s homeland for Christmas enjoying a Catamaran cruise with family and friends. Early December, they took a photo together during a stroll at night through New York City after a dinner date at NYC hotspot The Beatrice Inn a few days earlier.
“They’ve been inseparable the past few weeks,” a source told PEOPLE last month. “It’s a new relationship, but they both seem very into it.”
