Dr. Dre Still In ICU A Week After Suffering Brain Aneurysm! Ice- T, a rapper turned actor has shared an update on Dr. Dre’s condition as the producer remains hospitalized after suffering a brain aneurysm.
The actor posted on his twitter page Monday afternoon (January 11) in a message that read “I just talked to the homie @drdre He’s doing good and hopefully he’ll be home soon.. But let’s keep him in our prayers. ? For a full recovery.”
According to a report by TMZ Monday, Dr. Dre is still being monitored and examined in the ICU at the Cedars -Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
It’s reported that doctors want the legendary producer to remain in the ICU just in case he suffers another aneurysm. Also, since intensive care is needed for a brain aneurysm, it’s best for Dre to be on close watch so he can be accorded the attention he needs urgently.
It is still unclear whether Dr. Dre has undergone any sort of surgery or not which normally is a necessity to stop bleeding into the brain.
Dr. Dre suffered a brain aneurysm last Monday (Jan 4) at his home in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles. He was rushed to the hospital where he still remains to date.
On January 6, four men tried to rob Dr. Dre’s home after reports emerged that he had been hospitalized. The four were arrested and charged with burglary and are still in custody.
The same week saw Dr. Dre agree to pay Nicole Young his estranged wife $2 Million in temporary spousal support despite being hospitalized. Reports say he signed the agreement from his hospital bed.
