Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Is About To Launch A School Of Music, Sports And Entertainments. Jay-Z Roc Nation is partnering with a Brooklyn University to soon launch a school of music, sports and entertainment.
Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation which is an entertainment company is partnering with Brooklyn Long Island University to launch the Roc Nation School Of Music, Sports & Entertainment. The new school is set to launch and start enrolling students in the fall of 2021.
25% of the new incoming freshmen class students will receive the Roc Nation Hope Scholarship, the students will further the graduated debt free. The new school partnership of Roc Nation is classified by the Roc CEO, Desiree Perez as a true investment to the community and to the young people in Brooklyn, New York and beyond.
Desiree Perez shared “We are excited that The Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment will provide insight, knowledge and experience for students and introduce the world to the next generation of unmatched talent”. The school is expected ton a great institution that will we equip students.
Jay-Z was born and raised in Brooklyn, it is only fit that he may start an institution for the youth of his home town. The 22-time Grammy Award winning rapper launched Roc Nation in 2008 and has worked with music a-listers such as Rihanna, J Cole, Alicia Keys, Megan thee Stallion and more. Roc Nation sports was later launched in 2913 after they had partnered with the National Football League (NFL)
The Roc Nation School Of Music, Sports & Entertainment is to offer undergraduate degrees in music, music technology, entrepreneurship and production as well as sports management. The scholarship students are to be selected fro a group of academically competitive students that deem and in need for assistance.
