Jay-Z Paid Off DMX’s $12 Million Debt Bill At Def Jam. Billionaire rapper Jay-Z has lots of million to spare. Jay-Z has been reported to have cleared a $12 million debt for DMX at Def Jam.

Jay-Z has assisted DMX in paying his Def Jam Debt in full. The “4:44” rapper has stepped in to assist DMX when he was moving to another record label. The debt was payed of a few years ago after Jay became the president of Def Jam. the debt had been for the Ruff Ryders group that DMX had been a part of. The veteran rapper then left the Def Jam label and stated that he did not honor Jay-Z enough.

Even though Jay-Z and DMX were beefing at some point. Jay decided to release DMX from the label and wiped off his entire debt with the label. The 50 year old ‘Empire State of Mind’ rapper is known for silently assisting people. Lil Wayne has also came forward and shared that Jay has help him with a bill of over $7 million. Wayne shared that the rapper asked him not to make it known. Wayne decided to give him a shout out for what he is doing regardless of the request.

Jay and DMX’s beef started because of the many ‘ego’ problems they had with Ruff Ryders. the also had beef many years before when they had met at an underground rap battle in the Bronx. The two had been questioning who had been the winner of the battle among the two of them. Recently DMX had wanted to have a Verzuz battle against Jay-Z, but he ended up battling Snoop Dogg instead.

Jay-Z is a real G when he gives a hand in assisting other rappers in the game. He helped Lil Wayne when he was at his lowest and assisted him also with his taxes. Weezy chose to let people know of the great helping hand Jay-Z has become to him. DMX has not openly spoke about the assistance Jay has given him and there might be many other artist who have been assisted by the Brooklyn rapper who have not yet come out.
