His comments just came about after Cardi and Meg released the sexy and provocative song ‘WAP’. The singer mentioned the two female rappers for salacious gesturing. He said their sexual depictions must come at a cost. Ceelo received a lot of backlash for what he had said about female rappers, the backlash may have led him to penning an apology.

The 45 year old soul crooner then posted n apology statement on his Twitter account. He explained that what he said in the interview might have been interpreted with misunderstanding.
